Audrey (Milligan) Novak, 51, of Omaha, Neb., died Friday, Feb. 1, 2002 at Bergen Mercy Hospital, Omaha, Neb.

Funeral services were Tuesday, Feb. 5, at Watts Funeral Home in Montezuma with the Rev. Dennis Dorsheimer officiating. Burial was in Our Silent City Cemetery, Kellogg. Casket bearers were Brian Kays, Jeffrey Sachs, Richard Sachs, Russell Novak II, Brandon Sachs and Steve Novak. Honorary casket bearers were Stanley Novak and Michael Banks.

She was born August 7i, 1950, the daughter of Doyle and Thelma (Crider) Milligan. She lived with her grandparents, McKinley and Elsie Milligan of Montezuma, and graduated from Montezuma High School in 1968. She moved to the Omaha area, then lived in Gretna, Neb., for almost 30 years before moving back to Omaha. On Dec. 24, 2000, she married Russell Novak in Omaha. She worked at the Omaha Animal Group.

Audrey is survived by her husband, Russell Novak of Omaha; a daughter, Rhonda Sachs of Omaha; two sons, Jeffrey Sachs and Richard Sachs, both of Sioux Falls, S.D.; a stepdaughter, Frieda Novak of Omaha; a stepson, Russell (Lisa) Novak II of Omaha; a brother, Ed Milligan of Montezuma; her father, Doyle Milligan of Oskaloosa; her mother, Thelma Stevens of Cassville, Mo.; two grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and other relatives.

A memorial fund has been established.
