NANCY PHILLIPS SERVICES SET

Nancy Phillips, 38, of Searsboro died of cancer Wednesday, April 20, at her home.

Services will be conducted by 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Lynnville Friends Church, with burial in Columbia, Iowa. Memorials may be made to the Searsboro Community Friends Church and left at the Smith Funeral Home.

She was the daughter of Kenneth and Evelyn Shepard Beebout and was born Jan. 15, 1950, in Chariton. She had lived in Columbia and graduated from Knoxville High School. After receiving her degree from the University of Northern Iowa, she taught in the Ida Grove and Lynnville-Sully schools. She taught kindergarten in Lynnville-Sully until 1981.

She was married to Robert Eugene Phillips Aug. 5, 1977, at Columbia.

Mrs. Phillips was a member of the Searsboro Friends Church and the LaLeche League.

Surviving are her husband, two sons, Nathan and Kirk; her parents, Kenneth and Evelyn Beebout of Columbia; her maternal grandmother, Gladys Shepard of Chariton; three brothers, Warren Beebout of Stevens Point, Wis., Wayne of Cedarburg, Wis., and Charles of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and two sisters, Mary Beebout of Newton and Cheryl Beebout of The Colony, Texas.

RITES HELD FOR
NANCY PHILLIPS

Funeral services for Nancy Phillips, 38, of Searsboro, who died April 20 at her home, were conducted at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Lynnville Friends Church.

The Rev. Chet Robertson, pastor of the Searsboro Community Friedns Church, and the Rev. Kenneth Santee, pastor of the Lynnville Friends Church, officiated. Organist was Norma Sutton and soloist was Diane Barton.

Pallbearers were Donald Beebout, Leo Beebout, Tim Beebout, Rick Shutts, Rick Snook and Glen Van Dyke.

Burial was in Columbia Cemetery, Columbia,, Iowa.
