Cathy Jane Ahrens Brown, 48, of Omaha, Neb., formerly of Grinnell, died Friday, Jan. 3.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Andrew's United Methodist Church in Omaha, with graveside services at 3 p.m. at Hazelwood Cemetery here.
She was the daughter of Leo and Leona Carpenter Ahrens and was born March 8, 1949, in Grinnell. She was a 1967 graduate of Grinnell High School and a 1971 graduate of the University of Iowa. She received a master's degree in business administration from Creighton University in 1984.
She was married to Ted Brown March 14, 1981, in Kauai, Hawaii.
Surviving are her husband; two sons, Christopher and Colin, both at home; her mother; and one sister, Ann Allen of Grand Mound, Neb.
She was preceded in death by her father.
