KENNETH GRAFF

Kenneth "Lonnie" Graff, 18, of Brooklyn died Friday, July 21, at Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines.

Death was the result of injuries he suffered in a July 1 auto accident in the county.

Funeral services are set for 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Smith Funeral Home in Grinnell, with the Rev. William Schlobohm, pastor of the Malcom and Sheridan parishes, officiating. Organist will be Alice Renaud.

Pallbearers will be Matt Carter, Brian Cline, Robert Evans, Rick Hauser, Jeremy Holland and Matt Nagel. Honorary bearers were Jamie Breeden, Travis Burrows, Jeremy Goodrich, Shawn Mikles and Brian Wilcox.

Burial will be in Hazelwood Cemetery. A memorial has been established, and contributions may be left at the funeral home.

The son of Kenneth and Ruth Herbrandt Graff, he was born March 17, 1971, in Grinnell. He attended Grinnell schools, later moving with his family to Brooklyn where he graduated from BGM High School in 1989. He was a member of 4-H and had worked at Motor Supply Warehouse in Belle Plaine.

Surviving are his parents; a sister, Laura Renee of Brooklyn; his grandparents, Lester and Vivian Graff of Grinnell and Mary Herbrandt of Grinnell; and his great-grandmother, Minnie Graff of Tama. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ray Herbrandt.
