MRS. SOLISSA MYERS, 91
DIES AT HOME OF HER
SON, RAY MYERS

Mrs. Solissa Austella Myers, widow of James Smith Myers, died Sunday evening at the home of her son, Ray Myers, at 420 Broad street at the advanced age of 91 years, 5 months and 17 days. Mrs. Myers was born southwest of Ewart, the daughter of Amos and Mary Elizabeth Harris Gregson. She and her husband made their home in Grinnell for 45 years and later lived for a time in Atlantic. She is survived by three sons Cecil S., and Ray G. Myers of Grinnell and Amos E. Myers of Newton, two daughters, Mrs. Amy E. Stull of Grinnell and Mrs. Hazel V. Peterson of Oelrichs S.D., and by a sister, Mrs. Sarah Stull of Grinnell. She was a member of the First Baptist church of Grinnell.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Smith funeral home conducted by her pastor, Rev. C.E. Kingsley. Burial will be in the Ewart cemetery.
