SERVICES SET

Opal Rayl Frebert, 65, of Sacramento, Calif., died Tuesday morning at Mercy Hospital in Sacramento. She had been in failing health the past 11 months.

Funeral services for Mrs. Frebert will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Smith Funeral Home, with the Rev. Myron Harris, pastor of the Northside Friends Church, officiating. Music will be provided by Mrs. Booker Kiner, organist, and Mrs. William Smith, vocalist. Pallbearers will be Don Ent, James Gault, Max Hall, Virgil Jones, George Reavis and LaVerne Reavis. Burial will be at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery at Searsboro. Friends may call the Smith Funeral Home for additional information.

The daughter of Alvin Delbert and Mary Jane Reavis Rayl, she was born Dec. 19, 1911, in Grinnell. She attended the Grinnell schools and was graduated in 1930. She later attended A.I.B. in Des Moines and worked as a bookkeeper for over 40 years.

On Jan. 18, 1930, she was married to Harry Frebert in Northwood, Ia. The couple lived in Mason City, Cedar Rapids, DeWitt and Davenport before moving to San Bernardino, Calif., in 1965. Mrs. Frebert moved to Sacramento following her husband's death in 1967.

Survivors include her brother, Delbert Rayl of Searsboro, and four sisters, Edna Rayl of Sacramento, Mrs. Ruth Hayes of Portland, Ore., Mrs. Obie (Thelma) Criswell of Grinnell, and Mrs. Elsie Anderson of Elbow Lake, Minn. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harry; and a brother, Fred Rayl, in 1973.
