MISS JOYCE HIDLEBAUGH

A Funeral Mass for Miss Joyce Hidlebaugh, 62, a former resident of Brooklyn, was held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, in St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Brooklyn. Miss Hidlebaugh died April 12, in her home in Arlington, Va.

Celebrant of the Mass was Fr. Karl Holtkamp, pastor of St. Patrick's. The organist was Mrs. Sally Gates. Honorary casketbearer was LaVaughn Cram. Casketbearers were Henry Van Ersvelde, Gerald Read, Dan Flanagan, Jerry Newton, Raphael Gallagher and Ernest Andes. Interment is in Calvary Cemetery, Brooklyn. Rosary was 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Nevenhoven Funeral Home, Brooklyn.

Rita Joyce Hidlebaugh, daughter of Mrs. Irene Dowd Hidlebaugh and the late Roy Hidlebaugh, was born in Bayard, March 4, 1922. She moved with her family to Brooklyn in 1926. She was a graduate of Brooklyn High, class of 1939. She was a graduate of the University of Iowa. Miss Hidlebaugh was a retired employee of the United States Department of State, and had served 20 years overseas.

Miss Hidlebaugh was a Catholic, and a former member of St. Patrick's Church, Brooklyn.

Survivors include her mother, Mrs. Irene Hidlebaugh of Brooklyn, and one sister, Jan, Mrs. John W. Kriewitz of Huntsville, Ala., and their daughtrer, Jill.

She was preceded in death by her father.
