TAYLOR FUNERAL
TO BE TOMORROW

Funeral services for G.A. Taylor will be held Wednesday morning at nine o'clock from the Congregational church, conducted by Revs. E.M. Vittum and H.M. Tuttle. Burial will be in the Gilman cemetery.

Mr. Taylor passed away at his country home south of Grinnell at about 3:30 o'clock Monday morning. He had been very frail for quite a long time.

Mr. Taylor was born in Denmark, Iowa, July 7, 1860. He attended school in the east, graduating from Williams college a classmate of Rev. H.W. Tuttle, with whom he also studied at the seminary.

After a year at Chicago Theological Seminary he spent a year and a half as a missionary in Nebraska. He then entered the Yale Divinity School where he graduated. After he was ordained he served as pastor of the Congregational Church at Stuart for nine years, at Spencer for three years and at Emmettsburg for three years.

In *1889 he and Mrs. Taylor were married at Denmark, Iowa, where Mrs. Taylor was teaching at the time. Shortly after their marriage they went to Stuart to make their home. Two children were born to them, Miriam and Esther.

While serving as pastor at Emmettsburg, Mr. Taylor had a physical and nervous breakdown which caused him to retire from the ministry. He returned to Denmark for a time, and in 1906 located on a farm southeast of Grinnell, where he had since lived.
