W.D. 'JACK' EUROM

W.D. "Jack" Eurom, 82, of Kellogg died Sunday, Jan. 8, at Marshalltown Medical and Surgical Center.

Funeral services were conducted Wednesday at Pursel-Davis Funeral Home in Marshalltown, with the Rev. Mike Johnson of the Kellogg Christian Church officiating. Burial was in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens, Marshalltown.

Memorial contributions in Mr. Eurom's name may be made to the Kellogg Fire Department and Ambulance Service.

He was born Nov. 17, 1912, in Minerva, the son of Jacob J. and Mamie Males Eurom. He was raised and educated in the Clemons area where he attended Hazlegreen schools and Clemons High School.

He was married to Margaret Coleman July 23, 1940, in Bethany, Mo. Mr. Eurom began farming in the St. Anthony area and later farmed in Story County. He farmed in the State Center area from 1947 until he moved to a farm near Kellogg in 1955. He retired in 1976.

Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Beverly Stepp of Kellogg and Shirley Kinnaird of Altoona; one son, Gary of Altoona; a brother, Leonard of Albion; a sister, Eva Hauser of Scottsdale, Ariz.; two grandsons; one granddaughter and one great-great-grandson.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers and one sister.
