PEARL A. DUFFUS

Pearl A. Duffus, 81, of Des Moines, a former resident of Brooklyn, died Oct. 26, 1997, in Iowa Methodist Medical Center, Des Moines. There were no services, and private burial was in Brooklyn Memorial Cemetery, Saturday, Nov. 8. Nevenhoven Funeral Services was in charge of arrangements.

Pearl Adeline Duffus, daughter of Arthurs L. Duffus and M. Ethel Carmichael Duffus, was born Sept. 19, 1916, at Brooklyn. She received her education in a rural school and the Brooklyn High School, from which she graduated. She retired in September of 1981 from Pioneer Hybrid Corn Co. of Des Moines.

Survivors include one sister, Marie Duffus, of Des Moines.
