MRS. PHILIP BOUCHER

Helen Jane Korns, daughter of Truman T. and Bessie Jones Korns, was born near Hartwick, Iowa, on Nov. 10 1917, coming to Brooklyn in 1920.

She attended the Brooklyn school, graduating in 1936. Because of ill health she went to Phoenix, Ariz., in 1938 to make her home.

During World War II she served two years with the Waves.

She was a member of the Methodist church and the P.E.O. Sisterhood.

On January 10, 1962, Helen Jane Boucher and her mother-in-law, Mrs. Ruth Boucher, were killed in a car accident near Carlsbad, New Mexico.

A double funeral service was held June 15 in Queen of Peace church in Mesa, Arizona, with burial in Mountain View Memorial cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her mother in 1936. Survivors are her husband, C.W.O. Philip T. Boucher, of Roswell, New Mexico, and her father and step-mother, Mr. and Mrs. Truman T. Korns of Brooklyn, Iowa.
