--Dr. A.M. Thompson of this place died yesterday morning about four o'clock in the morning. His funeral will be held to-morrow afternoon at 2 o'clock, and he will be buried with Masonic honors. The doctor has had poor health and has been an uncomplaining sufferer for a long time. For a few months past he has not been able to attend to business. The immediate cause of death was carcinoma of the pyloric orifice of the stomach. Those who were intimately acquainted with him esteemed him as a man of sound judgment, solid attainments, and skill in his profession.
