BE BURIED HEREMabel Frazier, a former popular school teacher of Grinnell and in this county, died Saturday forenoon at the home of her sister, Mrs. J.E. Dysart in Marshalltwon. Her home has been in Santa Ana, Calif. for a number of years. She was taken sick at her western home and returned to Marshalltown two or three weeks ago to be with her sister and the body was brought to Grinnell for burial in Hazelwood, the hour being two o'clock this afternoon.
She leaves three sisters, Mrs. C.L. Powers of Lawton, Oklahoma, Mrs. H.D. Shaw of Grinnell and Mrs. J.E. Dysart of Marshalltown to mourn her death.
Mrs. Shaw has been in the hospital at Iowa City for some time and was unable to be present at the funeral.
Miss Frazier was well known and before moving to California had many friends in and near Grinnell.

MABEL FRAZIER HELDFuneral services for Miss Mabel Frazier were held from the home of her sister, Mrs. H.D. Shaw, at 2:30 Tuesday, in charge of Rev. E.M. Vittum. He was assisted by Rev. W.B. Wilson, of Newburg. Mrs. E.B. Spencer and Mrs. Marjorie Warner Bouma sang two selections.
The pallbearers were A.M. Button, W.B. Bump, W.J. Neely, H.A. Russell, F.M. Marvin and Ross Work, and those caring for the flowers were Mrs. Neely, Mrs. Russell and Miss Grace Hays. Burial was in the Hazelwood cemetery.
Those attending from a distance were Mrs. M.C. Hoagland, Santa Ana, Calif.; Dr. and Mrs. A.D. Barker, Grand Mound, Iowa; and Mr. and Mrs. J.E. Dysart, Mr. and Mrs. F.M. Haradon, Mrs. C.N. Patrick, Miss Inez Erickson, and Miss Sophia Chindlund all of Marshalltown.
