Donald D. DeWitte, 61 of Rte. 2, Brooklyn, died of a heart attack Thursday, Nov. 30, while visiting friends at Belle Plaine.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday at the McAninch-Fremming Funeral Home in Victor, with the Rev. James B. Rea Jr., pastor of the Brooklyn First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial was in Harmony Cemetery southwest of Victor.
Memorials in Mr. DeWitte's name may be left at the funeral home.
He had farmed all of his life in the Brooklyn-Victor area.
Surviving are his wife, Norma; three children, Vicky Joens of Lenexa, Kan., Randy of Chandler, Ariz., and Scott of Fairfax, Iowa; two grandchildren; one sister, Lorraine Martello of Las Vegas, Nev.; and two brothers, Bernard of Cedar Rapids and Robert of Brooklyn.
