Mary Jackson, 54, of Minneapolis, Minn., formerly of Grinnell, died Tuesday, May 12, 2009, at Rosewood Estates, Roseville, Minn., after a three-year battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease.)
A memorial service will take place Sunday, June 21, 2009, at 11 a.m. at Washburn McReavy Crystal Lake Chapel at 3816 Penn Avenue North, Minneapolis, Minn. She was born July 24, 1954, in Grinnell, the daughter of Robert L. and Arilla (Peg) Jackson. She was a 1972 graduate of McDonell High School in Chippewa Falls, Wis., and graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, in 1976. She had been employed at ING.
She is survived by two brothers, Robert of Milwaukee, Wis., and Steve of Long Beach, Calif.
