PEARL L. GLASGOW

Pearl L. Glasgow, 84, of Grinnell died Monday, Feb. 15, 2010, at Grinnell Regional Medical Center.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, Feb. 20, at 10:30 a.m. at Smith Funeral Home with burial later that afternoon in Eaton Cemetery in Unionville.

Friends may call at Smith Funeral Home Friday beginning at 12 noon with family members present from 4 to 7 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Pearl L. Glasgow Memorial Fund.

She was born Feb. 3, 1926, in Moravia, Iowa, the daughter of T.J. and Ethel May Lender McCrory and was a 1944 graduate of Moravia High School. She was united in marriage with Theodore E. Glasgow on March 15, 1948, in Bloomfield. They farmed in rural Moravia until moving to Grinnell in the 1950s.

She is survived by her daughter Verla Glasgow of Grinnell and one grandson Larry Burch of Grinnell. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three brothers and one sister.
