RITES HELD FOR
MRS. LARKINS

Minnie Marie Larkins, 69, of Des Moines, formerly of Grinnell, died Sunday, Sept. 2, at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines.

Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Harden Funeral Chapel in What Cheer, with the Rev. Duane Ferguson officiating. Burial was in Springfield Cemetery, Delta.

The daughter of John J. and Eva Harris Garrett, she was born March 7, 1915, in Delta. She was married to William Dale Larkins on April 30, 1934. Mr. Larkins died in 1970.

Mrs. Larkins lived in Grinnell from 1952 to 1981, when she moved to Des Moines. While in Grinnell, she was a waitress at the Longhorn restaurant. Prior to living in Grinnell, she was a resident of Deep River.

She is survived by her two daughters, Carolyn Joslin of Des Moines and Connie Doench of Tyrone, Okla.; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three brothers, Leslie Garrett of Mason City, Evan Garrett of Oskaloosa and Eugene Garrett of Keswick; and one sister, Evelyn Frost of Knoxville.

She was a member of the Deep River Methodist Church.
