Ernest Bryan Peters, son of William J. and Allie Chase Peters, was born in Grinnell, Iowa, on July 21, 1900, and passed away Oct. 28, 1962, in Westminster, Calif., at the age of 62 years.

On May 5, 1928, he was united in marriage with Gertrude J. Dempster and this union was blessed with a son, Edward Ernest.

The greater part of his life was spent in Grinnell where he was until 1951, co-owner and operator of the Wright & Peters Sales Company. At this time he and his family moved to California. Until 1957 he was associated in real estate but due to ill health he was forced to retire.

He had a great love for his family, always a patient sufferer, never wavering in the great faith he had.

Funeral services were held Oct. 30 at Westminster Memorial Park Chapel in Westminster, Calif., with Mr. Dwight Kenyon officiating. Burial was at Melrose Abbey in Santa Ana.

Mr. Peters leaves to mourn his death, besides his widow and son, his brothers and sisters -- Sherman Peters of Brockport, New York; Mrs. Eva Van Draska of Inglewood, Calif.; Glen Peters of Lakewood, Calif.; and Myra Young of Grinnell; and a great many friends and relatives. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, three brothers, and two sisters.
