MRS. ANDREWS SERVICES HELD

Pauline W. Andrews, 80, of 403 Adams St., Brooklyn, died Monday, Feb. 20, at the home of her daughter, Marlys McClenathan.

Funeral services were conducted at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Nevenhoven Funeral Home in Brooklyn, with the Rev. Lynn Williams of the United Presbyterian Church officiating. Organist was Sybil Kelley. Pallbearers were Tim McClenathan, Terry McClenathan, Roger McClenathan, Gary McClenathan, Tony Gill and Gene May.

Burial was in Prairie View Cemetery, Gilman.

Daughter of Frederick H. and Caroline Boeger Ebert, she was born Nov. 3, 1903 north of Kellogg. She moved to the Rock Creek area and attended rural schools in Jasper County, later moving to Laurel.

On Feb. 24, 1936, she was married to Smith Andrews in Marshalltown. They lived on a farm near Gilman until 1941 when they moved to Brooklyn. They operated the Dutch Inn Café until 1963 when Mrs. Andrews retired due to failing health.

She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Kellogg, the BBB Club and several card clubs.

Survivors include her daughter, Marlys McClenathan of Brooklyn; a sister, Minnie Logsdon of Las Vegas, Nev.; a brother, Gus Ebert of Kellogg; and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sisters and two brothers.
