REED DONNELLY
DIES SUDDENLY

Reed Donnelly, who has made his home in this county for over forty years, died suddenly shortly before noon Wednesday in the home of Dr. J.H. Friend, where he had gone for medical advice. When he called at the Friend home Mrs. Friend admitted him and asked him to sit down in the hall while she called the doctor, who was in the cellar putting coal on the fire. When she returned from calling her husband she saw Mr. Donnelly leaning back in his chair and breathing heavily. Dr. Friend hurried to him but found him dead.

Mr. Donnelly during his younger years worked on farms over the county and later as a carpenter in Grinnell. He lived alone over the building adjoining the city building on the north. He was unmarried and is survived only by two sisters, Mrs. Emma Ehrissman of Tyrone, Pa., and Mrs. Mary Jones of Lakeside, Wash.

Funeral services will be held from the Smith home for funerals Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Rev. William Welsh, Mr. Donnelly's pastor will conduct the services. Burial will be in Hazelwood.
