RITES ARE HELDFloyd Luttman, 76, of Rte. 3, Grinnell, died of renal failure Saturday, Feb. 13, at Grinnell General Hospital.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Smith Funeral Home with the Rev. Arvid Dixen, pastor of St. John's Lutheran Church, officiating. Organist was Margaret Amo, and vocalists were Ruth Ann Dayton and Wilma Schmitz. Pallbearers were Vernon Graham, Orville Hafkey, Merle Harris, Lester Luttman, Merlyn Luttman and Farrell G. Siehl. Burial was in Hazelwood Cemetery.
He was the son of Louis George and Anna Louise Siehl Luttman and was born on Nov. 12, 1911, in Chester Township. He received his education in rural Chester Township school. He farmed with his brother, Elmer L. Luttman, for many years in Chester Township. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.
There are no immediate survivors. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother.
