--Mrs. Asenith Tish died Tuesday evening of last week at Community hospital in Grinnell, after several weeks illness. She would have been 81 years old February 25. She was a loving mother and a kind neighbor and friend. She leaves a son, E. L. Tish ; a granddaughter, Mrs. Earl Brown of Grinnell, and several great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Thursday from the local Friends church by the Rev. E. M. Gregson, pastor of the Little Mount Baptist church. Pallbearers were Alva Vincent, W. H. Johnson, M. P. McDowell, A. B. Latham, Chas. Heilmeyer and Everett Baker. Burial was in West Liberty cemetery. Out of town relatives attending the services included Mr. and Mrs. John Evans of Brooklyn; Mr. and Mrs. Ray Evans of Montezuma ; Milt Stewart, Mrs. A. M. Evans and Miss Helen Dudley of New Sharon ; Misses Verda and Virgie Tish of Blue Point ; Preston Tish of Montezuma ; Mrs. Leslie Brown and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Brown and family of Grinnell.
