PAULINE BRYANT RITES FRIDAY

Pauline C. Bryant, 59, of 1816 Seventh Ave., Grinnell, died Sunday morning at her home.

Following cremation, graveside services will be held Friday at the Haw River, N.C. cemetery. Friends may call the Smith Funeral Home here for additional information.

The daughter of John and Louella Simpson Chatman, she was born Feb. 3, 1922, at Haw River. She was married to Jacques Bryant on June 18, 1966, at Montezuma. Following their marriage they lived in Grinnell. Mrs. Bryant was employed by the Grinnell Laundry.

She is survived by her husband; a son, Mitchell Lassiter of Graham, N.C.; her mother, Louella Wren of Haw River; and three brothers and three sisters, all of North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her father; her first husband, *Duril Lassiter; a son, Timothy Lassiter; and seven brothers and sisters.
