CONNIE E. WEBBER

Connie E. Webber, 38, of Deep River, Iowa, died on April 7, 1986 in the Marengo Memorial Hospital at Marengo, Ia. She was born on May 4, 1947 at Sigourney, Ia., the daughter of Fred and Bernita Tipton Morris.

She graduated from Sigourney High School in1965 and attended A.I.B. in Des Moines. On Dec. 20, 1967 she was united in marriage with Larry Webber at Sigourney. To this union three children were born. They spent most of their married life in Deep River. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and Sunshine Sisters Club and did volunteer work at the Deep River Elementary School. She was a member of the Methodist church and later the United Church in Deep River.

Connie is survived by her husband, Larry; one son Duane "Duc"; two daughters: Anita and Amy; her parents: Fred and Bernita Morris of Unionville, Mo.; her parents-in-law: George and Helen Webber of Deep River; one brother and his wife, Terry and Phylis Morris and son Justin of Malcom and one brother-in-law and his wife, Jerry and Cheryl Webber and daughter Tiffany.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday from the United Church, Deep River, with Rev. Mary Margaret Thiel officiating.

Verla Van Dee was organist and accompanied Carol Dale and Marilyn Warwick who sang "In the Garden." Casket bearers were Louis Martin, Stanley Ochs, Richard Walker, Richard Ranfeld, Kenneth Wallace and Raymond Thompson. Honorary casket bearer was Jack Johnston. Interment was in Golden Rod Cemetery, Deep River. Arrangements were by Watts Funeral Home, Montezuma.

Memorials may be made to the Connie Webber Memorial for Deep River Elementary School.
