FUNERAL SERVICES
HELD TODAY FOR
MRS. WM. GARDNER

Mrs. Grace Gardner, 76, of 1023 East street, widow of William Gardner died Saturday morning at a local hospital following an illness of several weeks.

Funeral services were held at 3:30 this (Monday) afternoon at Smith funeral home with the Rev. W.F. Overhulser of the Methodist church and the Rev. C.E. Kingsley of the First Baptist church as participating ministers.

Burial was in Hazelwood cemetery.

Grace Cunningham was born in Toronto, Canada, Oct. 22, 1877, the daughter of Daniel Cunningham and Margaret Campbell. She was married to William Gardner in Chicago, Ill., in September, 1925. There are no children.

The Gardners moved to Grinnell 28 years ago from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Mr. Gardner was associated with V.G. Preston in the clothing business and later was a partner of A.B. Hamilton in the insurance and real estate field.

Surviving are two sisters, Bessie Cunningham of Grinnell and Evelyn Cunningham of Detroit.

Mrs. Gardner was a member of the Methodist church and the Priscilla club.
