ELIZABETH MONTEREY FRY

Elizabeth Monterey Fry was born Nov. 22, 1884, at What Cheer, Ia., the daughter of the late Mathew Ferneau and Eliza Ann McNab Ferneau. She died Saturday, Sept. 15, 1956 at her home in Grinnell.

She was married in 1909 in Grinnell to Charles B. Fry. Her husband preceded her in death in 1941.

She is survived by two children, Mrs. Maie De Hart of Grinnell and William F. Ziska of Park Ridge, Ill., three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Also surviving are one brother-in-law, Fred Ferneau of Chicago and three sisters, Mrs. Christina Strong of Montezuma, Mrs. Lucy Stanley of Grinnell, and Mrs. Dess Martin of Grinnell.

Funeral services were held at the Smith Funeral home Monday, Sept. 17. The Rev. John DeLong of the Grinnell Methodist church officiated. Burial was in Hazelwood cemetery.
