ALICE E. HOGAN

Alice E. Hogan, 93, formerly of 228 S. Summit St., Iowa City, died Friday, Nov. 13, 1987, at Beverly Manor Care Center, Iowa City, following a short illness.

Born on June 14, 1894, Miss Hogan attended Iowa State Teachers College, and taught in the Brooklyn school systems for 43 years. She was a 53-year member of P.E.O., Chapter KZ.

Survivors include a niece and a nephew.

Services were at 11 a.m., Monday at the George L. Gay Funeral Home, Iowa City, with the P.E.O. and the Rev. Leon Aalberts officiating. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery. Memorial donations to Brooklyn School Libraries.
