FRIDAY FOR MRS.
FRANK MCMILLAN

Mrs. Elizabeth McMillan, 96, died Tuesday afternoon at a local hospital after a short illness. She had been making her home the last 4-1/2 years with her daughter, Mrs. Roy Mushrush of Grinnell.

Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Friday from the Smith Funeral Home with the Rev. C.E. Kingsley, pastor of the First Baptist church and Dr. G.S. Bruland, pastor of the First Methodist church, officiating. Burial will be in Duluth, Minn., Saturday.

She was the daughter of Arthur and Joan Mull Van Toll and was born Mar. 28th, 1864 at Grand Haven, Mich. She received early education in the public schools at Grand Haven and on April 14th, 1888, was united in marriage with Frank McMillan.

Shortly after their marriage, they moved to Duluth, Minn., where they made their home for 55 years. They were the parents of two children, Adrian E. McMillan of Winter Park, Fla., and Mrs. Roy (Joan) Mushrush of Grinnell.

Mrs. McMillan was a member of the First Presbyterian church in Duluth and had taken part in many activities of the church. She was also a member of the Zenith chapter of the Order of Eastern Star and the Maccabees in Duluth.

She is survived by her son and daughter, two grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Also surviving are three brothers, Ralph and Arthur of Grand Haven and Spring Lake, Mich., and Nelson of Birmingham, Ala.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1938, her parents, three brothers and two sisters.
