Her girlhood years were spent at the Arlington home where she graduated from the high school. Later she took two years of work at Upper Iowa university and a year at Cedar Falls. Following this she taught one year in the public schools at South English. Mrs. Moore waa a member of the M.E. church, but on moving to Newburg she transferred her membership to the Congregational church at that place. She was a woman of strong faith and while at the hospital during the trying days of her illness she and Mr. Moore engaged regularly in prayer at the bedside.
She was a member of the Eastern Star lodge at Gilman and a member of the Woman's club at Newburg where she was an active and valuable member.
Those left to mourn her untimely going are the husband, two little sons, Marion A., two years of age, and Warren C., three months old; the father and mother who live at Hinkley, Ill., three sisters, Abbie of Aurora, Ill., Mrs. Wm. Overholt of Foochow, China, and Esther of Detroit; also three brothers, Herbert of Chicago, Harley of Arthur, N.D., and Albert of the same place.
Mrs. Moore was a friendly person who was interested and active in all good things, a loving mother and a good, affectionate wife. She will be greatly missed among her friends and loved ones.
