JASPER RICHESON DIES
SUNDAY; SERVICES
SET FOR WEDNESDAY

Funeral services for Jasper Richeson, longtime resident of Grinnell, who died Sunday morning at the home, will be held Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 from the Smith Funeral Home.

Rev. Kenneth Pohlenz of the First Friends church will officiate, with burial being in Hazelwood cemetery.

Richeson was the son of William and Minnie Booth Richeson and was born at State Center on Sept. 13, 1880. He moved to Grinnell when a young man and was employed as a cabinetmaker and carpenter in this area for many years.

After his first wife passed away he was united in marriage with Grace Wheeler at Victor on June 12, 1935, by the Rev. O.J. Fix. He was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge and held offices in the lodge.

He is survived by his widow Grace and two brothers Martin of Rock Island, Ill. and William of Long Beach, Calif. Preceding him in death were his parents and one sister, Mrs. Ella Otten.
