Dies Suddenly While in Sleep
Marion Hall Fails to Respond to Summons to Breakfast and is Found Dead
Apparently without warning, the life of Marion Francis Hall ended peacefully and quietly at his home in South Brooklyn sometime during last Monday night.
His death came as a complete shock, as he had been in his usual good health during the day, with the exception of a very slight cold. Failure to respond to a summons to breakfast, aroused the suspicions of the family, and on investigation the truth was learned. He had passed away as peacefully as he had fallen asleep. Mr. Hall will be missed from our streets, as hardly a day went by that he was not seen hauling coal or some other necessity to the people of Brooklyn.
Marion Francis Hall was born in Michigan, September 30, 1863, and died at the age of 61 years, 4 months and 16 days. He has been a resident of Brooklyn for the past twenty years and is survived by his wife, Mary Hall, and two children, Inez and Walter. Funeral services were held at the M.E. Church this afternoon at two o’clock, with Rev. W. J. Fowler officiating. Interment was made in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
