MRS. MORGAN RITES TUESDAY

Mrs. Jackie Morgan, 43, of 1850 Fifth Ave., Grinnell, died Friday at Grinnell General Hospital.

The Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church with the Rev. H.H. Linnenbrink officiating.

Organist will be Kathleen Heffner.

The Vigil service will be held at 3 p.m. Monday at the Smith Funeral Home east side facility, where friends may call. Burial will be at Hazelwood Cemetery.

The daughter of Gawain (Gabe) and Mary Ann Garrigan Wells, she was born May 29, 1935, in Grinnell. She attended schools here, graduating from Grinnell High School in 1953.

On June 18, 1960, she was married to Mervin R. Morgan in Grinnell. They continued to make their home here. Mrs. Morgan had been associated with the development office at Grinnell College. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Women's Altar and Rosary Society of the church.

Survivors include her husband; her children, Melinda Ann, David Eric, Chris Robert and Scott Mathew; her mother, Mrs. G.L. Wells of Grinnell; and a brother, Col. Patrick G. Wells of the U.S. Air Force in San Antonio, Tex. She was preceded in death by her father and a sister, Mrs. Patricia Ann Lewis.
