ROY TERRELL'S
MOTHER DIES

Mrs. Elizabeth Jane Makutchan Terrell, mother of Roy Terrell, passed away at the home of her son Saturday morning at about 6:30 o'clock. She had been ill since Friday.

Mrs. Terrell was aged 83 years, 3 months and 19 days. She was born in New York City the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William R. Makutchan. Her father was of Scottish ancestry and her mother, Catherine Montgomery was born in Kilkenny, Ireland.

In addition to her son, she is survived by two sisters, Martha Makutchan of Princeton, Ill., and Mrs. James E. Little of Marietta, Okla., two brothers, Howard Makutchan of Princeton and W.H. Makutchan of Glen Ellyn, Ill., and a niece Mrs. Murray Fantham of Houston, Tex. Martha Makutchan will be remembered by many of the older residents of Grinnell as she taught school west of Grinnell in the early days.

Funeral services are being held from the home,1839 Eighth avenue this afternoon starting at 2:00 o'clock. The services are in charge of Rev. Robert Inglis. Burial will be in Hazelwood cemetery.
