LUCILLE LARSEN

Lucille Larsen, 79, of 2005 Spring St., Grinnell, died Wednesday, Aug. 5, at Friendship Manor.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Grinnell United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Lon Lewis officiating. Organist will be Margaret Wheeler. Burial will be in Ivy Hill Cemetery, Malcom.

Friends may call at the Smith Funeral Home from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday. Memorials may be made to the Grinnell United Methodist Church.

She was the daughter of Leland and Pearl Overman Clark and was born May 5, 1913, near Ewart. She attended Ewart School and graduated from Grinnell High School in 1932.

She was married to Carl G. Larsen Dec. 19, 1935, at her parents' home. The couple lived in Grinnell until 1941 when they moved to Pasadena, Calif. They moved to Omaha, Neb., in 1943, and moved to Grinnell in 1988.

Mrs. Larsen was a member of the Grinnell United Methodist Church.

There are no immediate survivors. She was preceded in death by her husband; one daughter, Marilyn Carla Larsen; her parents; and one brother, Floyd Clark.
