Death of Mrs. J. B. Overman

Elizabeth Hall was born June 15th, 1829 and died Jan. 14, 1909. She was married in 1849 to Edward Sackett who’s death occurred several years ago. Six years ago she became the wife of J. B. Overman who survives her. Funeral services were held Saturday at the M.E. church by Rev. W. S. Kight of Valley Junction and interment made at the I.O.O.F cemetery.

The death of Mrs. J. B. Overman will bring sorrow to many a person of this community. She was one of those good old souls whom everybody loved, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. We regret that one with so many good qualities should be called away, yet the good works of her long life will live after her.
