RITES HELD FOR
MRS. EICHHORN

Edith Mae Eichhorn, 82, died Monday, April 16, at Friendship Manor here.

The daughter of George and Cora Swartz, she was born Oct. 28, 1890, in Deep River. She was a graduate of Deep River High School, and she later attended college in Cedar Falls. She came to Montezuma in 1912, living in that community until 1967.

Mrs. Eichhorn was an active member of the Deep River and Montezuma Methodist churches. She was also a member of the W.S.C.S., the Rebekah Lodge, and was a past Noble Grand.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and one sister.

Funeral services for Mrs. Eichhorn were held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Steffy Funeral Home in Montezuma, with burial in the Goldenrod Cemetery.
