--Mrs. F.B. Tufts died at her home at Montgomery City, Mo., Sunday of lung and heart trouble. She had been sick for a number of months. The body was brought to the city this morning and short services were held at the grave conducted by the Rev. E.M. Vittum. She was born in Frederick County, Maryland, July 18, 1859, and came with her parents to Iowa in 1878. She was married to Mr. F.B. Tufts at Parkersburg, Iowa, Nov. 14, 1898, and they resided near Grinnell until March when they removed to their present home. She professed religion when young and for the last two years has been a member of the Congregational church at Grinnell, Iowa. She leaves a husband, aged mother, sister, niece and many friends to mourn her departure.
