Mrs. Wealthy Moore Dies at Monte-
zuma, Aug. 31.

Wealthy Jane Skeels was born in Alban, Licking County, Ohio, April 9, 1846. Her family came to Iowa in 1856 and in 1862 she was married to Jesse Mackie. To this union four children were born, only one of whom, Mrs. Anna Johnson, is living. There are four grandchildren, May Johnson Swink and Leland, Adrain and Wilbur Garing.

Five years ago her husband died and two years ago, September 30, 1917, she was married to I.C. Moore. After a brief illness Mrs. Moore passed to her reward, Sunday, August 31st, 1919.

Four brothers and two sisters survive. From girlhood she has been a devout Christian and in her later years was a member of the Christian denomination.

She lived a quiet, unassuming life and will be sadly missed by very many friends. Her life was that of a joyful Christian and in her death had a heart of praise to her Heavenly Father for His wondrous grace and mercy. "The memory of the just is blessed."
