OBITUARY.

MARY J. TENNEY.

Mary J. Tenney was born at Indian Town, Iowa, March 23, 1862. She died November 9, 1906 at her home in Grinnell. When one year old her parents moved to Corinth, Vermont, where she resided until their death and in 1892 returned to Montour, Iowa and lived with relatives. In 1899 she came to Grinnell and has lived since at the W.S. Doe home. From her earliest years she suffered from physical weakness which prevented her from enjoying many of the pleasures of life, but she bore all her pains and sorrows with sweet Christian fortitude. She was kind and loving, a blessing to all who knew her. The remains were taken to Corinth, Vermont, for interment.
