Floyd M. Parslow, 89, father of Morris Parslow, died Oct. 23 in Muskegon, Mich.

Funeral rites were conducted Oct. 26 in the Garden Chapel of Achterhoff Mortuary in Muskegon with the Rev. John H. Brown officiating. Interment was in Norton Cemetery, Norton Shores, Mich. with military rites by the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He was born Sept. 2, 1898, in Belding, Mich. He was employed in the personnel department at Continental Motors in Muskegon, then was elected supervisor of Muskegon Township in which capacity he served for 12 years until he retired in 1963. He was a veteran of World War I, having served in France and Germany.

He is survived in addition to his son by a daughter Jeanne Johnson, Muskegon; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years Margaret E., and two sons Traver and Robert.
