Mrs. Cornelia R. Dickinson who died at Wethersfield, Ill., last Friday, lived in or near Grinnell for twelve years. She and her husband moved here in 1884, and were strongly identified with the life of the Congregational church until their return to Wethersfield in 1896. In that year while living in Grinnell, Mrs. Dickinson suffered a stroke of paralysis which made her partially helpless the balance of her life, but her unfailing cheerfulness and hopefulness sustained her to the end. The burial was Sunday, the body being interred by the side of her husband, who preceded her in 1897.
