OBITUARY.

MRS. WILL CALLAN.

Ethel Toy Woods was born in Fremont, Ia., on May 25, 1883, and died in Grinnell at the home of her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Sanger, at 713 Fourth avenue, on Thursday, April 5, 1917, aged 34 years, 10 months and 11 days. She was married on Sept. 16, 1915, at St. Paul, Minn., to Will Callan. She had been ill for more than a year previous to her death, and had undergone two operations in a vain attempt to recover her health.

The funeral services were held at the Sanger home on Fourth avenue on Thursday afternoon, April 7, conducted by Rev. J.M. Brown of the Methodist church. Burial was at Hazelwood cemetery.

Mrs. Callan had made her home in Grinnell for some years and there are many friends beside the immediate family who will continue to hold her in high esteem and to remember her for her many acts of kindness.
