LOMA BAILEY DIES
HERE FRIDAY NIGHT;
SERVICES TUESDAYServices for Loma Bailey, 85, who died at the Lone Elm Rest Home on February 10th, will be conducted from Smith Funeral Home tomorrow at 2:00 p.m. with Reader L.P. Sherman officiating.
Music at the services will be provided by Mrs. J.W. Heffner and burial will be at Ivy Hill cemetery in Malcom.
Born July 7th, 1870 at Macomb, Ill., she was the daughter of George Guisleman and Emily Cale, both deceased. In September, 1890 she was married to S.F. Bailey at Burlington. Her husband also preceded her in death.
Two children, Mrs. Austin (Irma) Appleby and George W. Bailey survive.
Also surviving are three sisters: Alice Guisleman of Los Angeles, Calif.; Martha Guisleman, Los Angeles, Calif.; Mrs. Emil (Mame) Mann, Albuquerque, N.M.; and one brother, Joe Guisleman of Santa Ana, Calif.
Mrs. Bailey had lived in Grinnell for 56 years and came here from Mt. Pleasant.
She was a member of Christian Scientist church and the Daughters of Union Veterans.
