MRS. PEARL
GILMORE PASSESPearl Dorothy Galloway, daughter of John and Katherine Galloway, was born January 22, 1904. She was christened in the Presbyterian church at the age of three weeks. She departed from this life on May 3rd, 1932 at the age of 27 years, four months and eleven days.
On April 26, 1922 she was united in marriage to Ira Leroy Gilmore. To this union were born five children. Those left to mourn her loss are her husband, Ira Leroy Gilmore, two daughters, Dorothy Marie, age nine, and Vada Florence age eight, three sons, George Andrew age six, James Robert, age four and Donald Eugene age two. Her father, John Galloway of Grinnell, her mother and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Johnson of Montezuma, one sister, Martha Mulbrook of Grinnell, two brothers, George of Grinnell, Robert of Chicago, two half-sisters, Mary Galloway of Des Moines and Helen Galloway of Grinnell, one half-brother, Alfred Galloway of Grinnell besides aunts and uncles and numerous other friends survive her.
Funeral services were held yesterday at one o'clock from the United Presbyterian church with Rev. W.J. Stewart in charge of the service. Two numbers, "Will the Circle be Broken" and "No Disappointment in Heaven" were rendered by Mrs. E.B.T. Spencer.
Pall bearers were Harold Bacon, Donald Sears, George Sears, Harold Tice, Ralph McFate and Merle Dimit. Interment was made in the cemetery at Sigourney.
