WILLIAM C. DOST

William C. Dost, 91, of East Moline, Ill., formerly of the Malcom area, died Tuesday, Dec. 28, at his home.

Graveside services were conducted Thursday at Ivy Hill Cemetery, Malcom. The Wendt Funeral Home of Moline was in charge of arrangements.

He was born Dec. 23, 1908, in Walnut, Ill., to William and Ruth Dost. He was married to Roma Warfield July 29, 1935, in Waterloo. She died in June 1995.

Mr. Dost was a self-employed carpenter for 50 years, retiring in 1978. He attended Moline Gospel Temple.

Surviving are one son, Leroy of Rock Island, Ill.; one daughter, Mary Alice Schwab of Galesburg, Ill.; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, two sons and three sisters.
