FRANK GERSBACH
BURIED SATURDAY

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at Montezuma for Frank Gersbach, retired merchant and old-time resident of that city. Services were held at the home and were conducted by Rev. W.F. Vanderlip, pastor of the Presbyterian church.

Frank, son of John and Teresa Schmidt Gersbach, was born in Honau, Baden, Germany, January 14, 1850, departing this life at the residence in Montezuma, Wednesday morning, July 9th.

At the age of 21, he left the parental home in Germany for America, settling first in Richmond, later in Brooklyn, and since 1876 in Montezuma. They had three children, Otto, of Chicago, Nellie of Montezuma, and Edward, who preceded him to the beyond. His wife also preceded him in death, and there remain of his immediate family, the two children, a brother, Charles, of Montezuma, and two grandchildren, Mrs. Nellie Frances Yeager of Yellowstone Park, and Frank Gersbach of Albuquerque, N. Mexico.
