DIES ON AUGUST 3

Anna Sheda, daughter of Frank and Frances Sheda was born on a farm north east of Guernsey March 28, 1881. She received education in the rural school.

She was united in marriage to Anton Dolezal of Guernsey Nov. 9, 1909, at Millersburg. Mr. and Mrs. Dolezal operated a general store in Guernsey until the death of her husband in 1942.

Mrs. Dolezal kept house for her brother John on the farm for 6 years, at this time they moved to Victor where she made her home until 1957. For the last 8 years she has been in the hospital and nursing home; she passed away at the Marengo nursing home Tuesday, August 3, at the age of 84 years, 4 months and 5 days.

Survived by 2 sisters, Mrs. Joe Prashak of Deep River, Mrs. Henry Koehn of Cedar Rapids, several nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 sister, Mrs. Mike Wentland, 2 brothers, John and Joe Sheda.

Funeral services were held at the McAninch Chapel in Victor Aug. 6 at 10 o'clock with Rev. John Rosenberger of the Ladora Methodist church officiating. Casket bearers were Arthur Koehn, Louis Hann, William Benda, Frank Pexa, August DeMeulenaere, Clarence Provin with burial in the Guernsey cemetery beside her husband.
