FUNERAL SERVICES

Jacob C. Morrow, 93, son of H.G. and Nancy (Carver) Morrow was born near Barnes City on Jan. 27, 1866, and died at his home in Montezuma June 28. He was the last of a family of 11 children.

He and A. Della Jenkins were married on Jan. 7, 1904, and spent their life on farms in this vicinity until they retired to the city in the late 20's. Survivng are Mrs. Morrow and a stepdaughter, Mrs. A.R. Hart of Deer River, Minn., several nieces and nephews and many friends.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, July 1, at the Steffy Funeral Home with Rev. R. Carrol Johnson in charge. Ben Purdum sang "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere" and "Beyond the Sunset." He was accompanied by Miss Alice Underwood, pianist.

Burial was in Jackson Township cemetery. Casket bearers were Robert Morrow, William Hinegardner, Forrest Morrow, Leonard Johnson, Ray Schlesselman and Jack Van Cleve.
