OBITUARY OF
THE LATE JOHN
BERT TUTTLE

John Bert Tuttle, son of Mr. and Mrs. L.D. Tuttle, was born at Peoria, Ill., Oct. 10, 1871, and passed away at Miller, S.D., April 10, 1935, at the age of 64 years and six months.

At the age of one year, he moved with his parents to Poweshiek county, Iowa, where he spent the greater part of his life. About 17 years ago he moved to Miller, S.D., where he was engaged in the cattle business up to the time of his death, which was caused by a stove explosion.

His parents and one sister preceded him in death. He leaves seven brothers and two sisters to mourn his loss: Orrie of Wilmington, Cal., Rizo of Riverside, Cal., Bernie and Harry of Victor, Edd of Grinnell, Clarence of Guernsey, Orris of Deep River, Mrs. Jay Jewell of Everly and Mrs. Rudy Dohrn of North English, besides a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at the home of Andrew Bramer. Rev. E.W.F. Holler was in charge of the service, assisted by Miss Thursia Manatt, Mrs. Wanda Montgomery and Mrs. Mae Armstrong, who sang "In the Garden" and "An Evening Prayer."

Interment was in the Tuttle lot in the I.O.O.F. cemetery.
