MEMORIAL SERVICES
ON SATURDAY FOR
MRS. MAUD LEMLEY

Mrs. Maud Lemley, 86, succumbed at her home here Wednesday night. She was the widow of Dr. L.G. Lemley.

Following cremation, memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday from the Smith Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert D. Dewey, minister of the Congregational church, officiating. Later, her ashes will be buried with those of her husband at Richland cemetery, Richland.

She was the only child of Aaron and Mary Charles Stalker and was born Dec. 26, 1874, at Richland. She received her early education in the Richland schools and later attended William Penn College at Oskaloosa.

The family lived in Blooming Prairie, Minn., before moving to Grinnell in 1906. On June 18, 1896, she was united in marriage with Dr. Levi Green Lemley of Grinnell at Richland.

To this union were born one son and one daughter, Irving S. Lemley of Grinnell and Mrs. Dwight (Margaret) Brooke of Des Moines. Also surviving are two grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband on June 14, 1958.

Mrs. Lemley had been a member of the Tuesday Club and was a member of the Congregational church.
